ASHE 2018 President's Award Recipient

The President’s Award is presented at the discretion of the sitting ASHE president to an individual who has made significant contributions to the health care facility management profession and has gone aboven and beyond the call of duty in support of the Society

Susan B. McLaughlin, MBA, CHSP, FASHE, MT (ASCP) SC, CHFM Chief Operating Officer, MSL Healthcare Partners, Inc. Barrington, IL

Sue McLaughlin is a founding partner of MSL Healthcare Partners. She has over 15 years of national consulting experience in the environment of care, emergency management, and life safety. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, a past member of the ASHE Board, and chair of the NFPA 99 Technical Committee on Emergency Management and Security. Previous positions include Director of Safety and Compliance for ASHE, and Associate Director, Standards Interpretation, Environment of Care Standards, for The Joint Commission.
